Wine Tasting

Tonight was my first ever wine tasting session and it was an interesting experience.

A friendly chap called Malcolm came round to the office with two suitcases of wine from which we were to choose the wine for our office Christmas party. I am sure this is just a ruse as after 16 glasses of wine and 1 glass of port, we decided to commit £230 to the wine fund. I am sure that at that stage of inebriation, we would have bought anything.

Now, the wine was nice (indeed it was some of the best wine I have ever tasted) but I am unsure as to whether it was worth that much. Still, there was some delectable sweet roses and whites and I am really glad I will be sampling whole bottles of them again in the future. I think I also managed to impress Mr. Wine Guy with my use of terms such as "nose" and "palate" when describing the wine. I learned a lot about wine tonight and a lot of it was very interesting indeed.

Still, 16 bottles of wine and a glass of port is not good when you want to shave yourself. I fear I may have done a botch job...

Just try not to get to drunk on the wine Hun. I know my horse would on it, his cheap drink when it comes to wine, 2 glasses and his passed tipsy and starts to get horny. ; P

Have a great time though; oh are they serving cheese as well.

Hello.

My Boss loves wine and is a bit of a snob about it. So we sometimes have tasting sessions after work or at lunch time :) It sounds like you had a nice time which is good :)

I hope all is good with you.

Take care.

Ian
