The Positive Post
Sorry for going a bit mental of late - I guess a lot of the events of the last few weeks have finally caught up with me. Still, I am sober now and apart from being a bit tired, I'm fine :-)
So in the spirit of positivity - what things make you happy when you are down? Fursuiting and Wolfie are two of mine *wags*. And thinking about you lot *hugs*

Also, I'm not sure how far I can actually go - I've never tried to go longer distances yet. c.c

When I'm really depressed, and by myself, I tend to drink. Whiskey takes the edge off of what I feel.
Sometimes I just retreat into myself and imagine a brighter future, one where I'm happy and far away from what is bringing me down.
My friends on LJ always cheer me up. Y'all are great

I have decided not to beat myself up over it because it is something that is a part of who I am. Beating myself up only makes it worse whereas if I accept that sometimes I am going to go mental then the cycle may be broken.

Ranting does work but then I feel guilty, feeling that I have worried people unduly. I never insult anyone but I am one of those sensitive souls who fears rejection or people hating me.
I often turn to drink but that is never a solution for me as it often makes things worse. I tend to drink to fall down and when that happens, I become angrier and more ranty, so I try and avoid drink when I am down now.
I often have something to look forward to so I can focus on that, that does help. And of course understanding friends, like so many of you are *hugs*
