Fursuiting At The York Meet

I am in two minds about whether to suit in York on Saturday.

I haven't suited since early July (and not in front of furs since last June at Confuzzled) and as I have the whole day off for the meet, I can easily plan to do it. Over the last few months, a few furs have asked me to suit at meets and they seem disappointed when I don't. And I must admit that I am tempted to do it again as I am missing the buzz.

However, it's a great hassle carting the box around with me all day and I fear it may be more trouble than it's worth.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

See what the weather will be like, and there's always someone willing to lend a hand carrying stuff. I must admit im still unsure of whether I'll bring mine or not. Can't really decide, not to mention being a little anxious about it. If I don't bring mine I'll happily lend you a hand!

While I can't advise you re: York - as it depends on your choices, if you want to suit at Manchester you're welcome to use my house as a dumping ground (it's a 10 min and £2.40 train ride from Piccadilly) if you decide not to lug the crate around all day but would like to suit there.

Go by the mood that prevails as you look outside on Saturday morning mate. :) Though if you do suit that'll give me extra reason to sneak into York meet for a bit, I'm meant to go to a friend's 18th party.

Looking at the current weather forecast for this Saturday at York i'd advise you and all the other suiters you know who are going to bring your suit. If you would like a storage place then there's always my boot at York Station Car-Park, it'll be spacious enough for you if you decide you'd like to bring it :3

There are now normally a few suiters in York so there will probably be a little Fursuit Walk or something. I have never done one of those at a furmeet before - the main problem is that it's such a responsibility to carry such an expensive suit around.

Really? I haven't done it for ages lols - I probably should do it but the box is so cumbersome to transport and look after, logistically it's very difficult :(

It would be great to see you hun and if suiting is one of the main reasons you will come then perhaps I should do it. I can't do it with a prevailing feeling as I don't live where my suit is so I need to pick it up and I also know that my prevailing feeling on the day will be it's too much hassle then I will turn up to the meet and probably not regret bringing the suit :(
