For overturning a 148 year colonial law by legalising homosexuality. Hopefully this will pave the way for other countries in the region to follow suit (in some - Indonesia, Thailand, Laos it is legal but in others it is not).

Nice to know, but the traditionalists won't care about the law :(

True but the Delhi ruling means a snowball effect could happen. Some people will never accept gays but their power of discrimination is significantly reduced when they no longer have the law on their side.
