RIP Marty

At eight o'clock this evening, my friend Marty passed away peacefully. He was one of life's genuine people, a true friend who has been there for me many times in the past. It's hard to believe that I saw him just two days ago and even though we knew this was coming, it doesn't stop it from hurting.

RIP Marty, you will be greatly missed :(

I know no matter how you prepare yourself it's never easy. My mum died of cancer, we knew it was coming too. So I know how you feel.

It was the same with my grandmother - we knew for four months. You'd think it would be easier, but it isn't for some reason.
