Alpha And Omega

We finally went to see the movie today to find that we had the whole cinema to ourselves. It was like watching it in our own front room - rather brilliant!! Sadly, it was only the 2D version as we had left it so late.

It was a cute movie, thoroughly enjoyable without being groundbreaking. I thought the first half an hour was a little silly but after that, it developed nicely. The characters were really cute, I did develop empathy with them (particularly with the female omega, randomly) and there were some nice touches to the animation. The storyboards at the end were great too but my mind linking the French Canadian goose with Vince Cable was somewhat distracting. And the less said about the parallels between Wolfie and I the better - Wolfie didn't like being a girl!! An alpha and an omega indeed :P

*On our way into the cinema, we also helped push-start a lady whose car had broken down. She had no idea what she was doing though and initially she thought we were going to carjack her or something as, when we approached, she put her locks down and started panicing. Still, we guided her through the process and she managed to get her car started. She was grateful in the end ^^

Having the cinema for oneself has rarely happend to me, but when it did it was one of the most awesome things! No noises, crackling/munching sounds etc.

Hmm, I've yet to see that film.

Good for You! I was lucky to experience that (theatre for one) with "How to train Your dragon" earlier this year. :) But all this teasing about A and O is making me sad. I've missed it in England and there is no screening in sight in this Hollywood-forsaken corner of the Europe. But I'll see it one day! ;)
