Christmas

Why is it not socially acceptable to dislike Christmas? I have no real love for the coldest, darkest, wettest time of the year in all honesty.

Holidays are what you make it. If you want to choose to hate a holiday, that's entirely up to you, but generally negativity is frowned upon.

For manifold reasons, I don't like Christmas very much either. I'm greatly looking forwoof to the Twelfth Night.

I work in sports, it's pretty much as hectic.

But I don't tolerate snow. In fact, I can't stand that either *sigh*. Maybe it is just winter I don't like.

I get that too... but it's more to do with the obsession of present-buying and I just sit there thinking "I'll just keep quiet since I can't afford to get anyone anything".
That and my birthday tends to get overlooked/forgotten/ignored since it's on the 23rd :/

My policy is Christmas doesn't even begin until after my birthday on November 20, but at least it's not subsumed by it. Hope you have a great day ^^
