As Pink As A Puppy
We are having a lazy day today. I hardly ever have lazy days so I am really enjoying it. No beer either - we drank more than enough of that over the weekend. I also need to get away from the sun as my face is bright pink and my collar is giving me chaffage under my neck. There is quite a scab developing and it hurts when I wear it. I must put it on a looser fastening I guess but first I need to wait for it to heal. Wearing no collar feels a bit strange whilst wearing a slacker one just doesn't feel right.
This morning we went to Morrison's to discover it has a wider choice of products and is considerably cheaper than ASDA. To reward ourselves, we had sausage, egg, beans and chips from the Cafe where I got a strange look from an old couple who thought I was pushing in when all I was doing was getting some plates. I also drank two bottles of semi-skimmed milk - it was like being seven again. We bought a digital TV aerial to try and boost our signal at home but alas it didn't work. Still, it got our second spare TV set working so that's no bad thing.
We also called in at Foulton's Foods to get some cheap freezer stuff and we discovered where the local gay sauna is, which we are hoping to try soon. They also do fetish nights and have a dungeon, wet room and maze so fun for everyone! Jockstrap nights and naked nights are all par for the course too. It's next to a bingo hall - the contrast between the two different types of clientelle could not be greater - but I think we are both looking forward to paying the sauna a visit in the very near future.
Back home, I had a snooze (puppy likes to snooze) and then started doing some menial tasks which needed to be done. Emails were written, savings were deposited and the Paws For Cause website has been updated with our forthcoming events. We also booked the ferry for EF, meaning that all costs associated with the con have now been paid. Hooray!
Meanwhile, Wolfie is busy trying to make a rubber collar for me but he is having trouble cutting straight edges. I hope he adds some pink to it too. We are going to have a big pizza later on and just relax on this beautiful (yet slightly windy) Spring day. Then it's back to work for 11 straight days as from tomorrow. But let's not think about that just yet...
