Funeral For A Friend

My friend's funeral is tomorrow morning, at 10am. I am on the bus heading home now. I think the whole experience is going to be tough. It's going to be heartbreaking seeing Olivia, his 12-year-old daughter. I am so apprehensive I feel sick. It's not going to be a good day.

Damn.. 12's way too early to lose such a central figure in one's life. Can't really fathom how horrifying that morning must've been for her.

Ah well. I suppose you can but try to offer what support you can, and thereby try, in some small way, to help the closure of this chapter of their lives.

At the risk of seeming morbid, do they yet know what actually caused his abrupt end?

It was a heart attack brought on by stress. Olivia is coping remarkably well - saw her today and she was very strong.
