I didn't really psyche myself up with alcohol although that did go and make me do it. I got into Boro about 1.30 wanting an England shirt and a piercing. The Jamaica match was at 2pm so I thought I'd get the England shirt and then catch the match. Sadly there was no time for the piercing. During the match I drank, which is what I normally do and I said to Steve after the Epsom Derby (4.30pm), fuck this I'm gonna get a piercing so he walked with me down to Claire's, where I had it done. It was well class coz the woman said 'have you been drinking?' to wit I replied yes - but I am sober! She took that as okay and jabbed a big needle in me ear! Sniff.

It's fine, doesn't hurt all that much, just when I lie on it - which makes life difficult as I can only fall asleep on me left side. Hence why I slept little last night and why I have spent most of the day falling asleep on my bed and in my clothes.

I probably will get the lobe pierced later in the week yes. Should be fun! I was gonna get both done yesterday but thought it would be going a bit too far for the first time. Have also been thinking about my eyebrow and my lip pierced too. Ooh dear, look what you've got me all started on now.

England shirt, well I'd like to think it was because of my England shirt that we gushed forth and scored six. Hey I'm just that kind of wolf. I mean guy. Whether it was or not is of course another matter.
