I have had bouts of alcoholism in the past, benders that have lasted three months because of my unhappiness. I have also had people be worried about my alcohol consumption, particularly as I was drinking to the point of causing my liver to permanently ache.

I learned a lot from those days and will never go back there again. Unfortunately when drunk, my own sense of insignificance comes to the fore and it is this that causes problems *hugs*
