Cheering Yourself Up

In these times of economic crisis coupled with the fact that it is January, it is very easy to be infected with a sense of gloom. So how do you cheer yourself up in times like these? Usually, all I do is try and achieve more, working my tail off but even that doesn't seem to be working very well at the moment. Any tips?

I go to the gym three/four times a week and it does work but I am often so tired before I get there, I question whether it is a good idea. In the end it normally is though as I feel reinvigorated after a good gym session. My home town is not great to be riding around on a bike hun lols.

I don't have a bath but the chocolate one seems a good suggestion. I kept meaning to watch a DVD and have a pizza on Monday evening but my friend dragged me to the pub instead. Was a good night but not the relaxing time I really needed.

Mmm. Yeah, going to the gym is good even when you're tired - if you're not already physically exhausted, it will likely make you feel better.

Hmm, not having a tub sucks, though...

It's strange that as a lot of the time I really just can't be bothered yet come out feeling so invigorated that I can stay up for hours.

True about the bath but I rarely go in them - I tend to get bored and restless after ten minutes or so :(

There's a lot of furry literature I really would like to read - problem is finding the time.

Well, you'd have time while taking a hot bath. (If you had a tub, that is.)

I could flood my shower cubicle and stand in it. I guess it's about the same thing.

That's a joke, right? o.o

Yep *hugs* :D

(It wouldn't work anyway - the door's not strong enough to keep the water in).

*noddles and snugs* OK. :)
