I must admit that I have never really seen the point with April Fool's Day but in its spirit:

1) What pranks have you played on people today?
2) What pranks have you done in the past?
3) What would be your ultimate April Fool's prank?

I changed the group policy at work so that for WinXP machines, the desktop on the "Press CTRL+ALT+DEL" screen had the company logo at the top, and at the bottom it said "A Microsoft subsidiary" XD

Plus for those that weren't using XP, there is a setting that allows you to specify a box popping up just before people type their usernames and passwords, where you'd traditionally put something like "By attempting to log on, you accept the terms of service" blah blah blah. I changed that to also say "By using this, you agree that you are an employee of {companyname}, a Microsoft Subsidiary". Unfortunately, people didn't even read it, just pressed OK and logged on...

And finally, I sent an email to our data specialist with 7MB worth of CSV files that contained "contacts to be imported into the system". Made it look like it was a forwarded email from the person that has been supplying a lot of data recently. Upon opening said files, they all say "What is today's date"?

1) None
2) Many, including modifying someone's kitchen toaster so that it toasted rude words onto the bread.
3) Anything that makes the mark question their sanity.

I played no pranks but some were played on me, most of which were obvious. I have not done any real pranks so I have no real answer to your third question. How was it for you? Take care.

Well i txt'd Wolfie and Vrek, conning them into thinking that any Maestro transactions that had gone through in the last two weeks had been duplicated.

Wolfie fell for it so far, but Vrek fell for it hook line and sinker :D

Nothing this year.

But I am having a beer tonight to celebrate Anne Mccaffrey's Birthday.

(She's my favorite fantasty author - Dragons of Pern and all that) ^..^
