UEFA Cup Final in two days. I'm so stoked. Stoked as a goat. Feel so heady and excited, I'm getting goosebumps already. This is gonna be so good. I'm also bloody petrified. But I have hope. Schwarz is back looking sweeter than ever in his little mask but God I'm scared. Really scared.
Fulham was cool yesterday, met loads of people and generally caused mischief. It was good catching up with them again, particularly Oort and James, I reserved big *hugs* for them! So sweet! I love them both, fucking top lads both of them. Journey down was interesting too, what with the 8am Smirnoff call (but then we ran out of alcohol and were dry for 4 hours Bah!) and the revelations of Ms Curly and the Hair Bear Bunch. That was disturbing! Help! Help! Here come the bears indeed *shudder*.
We were all split up for the game but the lads did us proud. All the singing came from the COB lads, particularly Retro and in the end we just started singing at each other in the crowd because no one else could be bothered. The match was a bit nothing, few chances but super Lee Cattemrole did us proud - who'd have thought he would be a Boro captain at this early stage, aye! All Academy players, all English and even the Fulham fans were impressed with our future. They were good lads too, chatted to many and wished us well for Wednesday! To coin a Millsy phrase WAHHHHH!!! Still so so scared! WAHHHHHH!!!
The day was quite tiring in the end though and just wanted to curl up like a little wolfcub on the way back. I'd drank too much and had started smoking - why does that ALWAYS happen when I'm drunk yet when I am sober I detest it? Strange. Oh and I led the chanting in the pub, along with Retro, by standing on the bench and conducting everyone. We sang 'Erthugal Saglam's Red & White Army' but no one really got it. And I chanted to Bassett in the balcony at the start of the second half. He smiled. Oh and Fids showed us her arse. Three times. In the pub. It was one of those sort of a days. Indeed if Riggott had played it would have almost been perfect but you can't have everything I suppose. But God am I tired now. Plus I have articles to write! Still, tea first - must have healthy stuff - three bags of crisps and a Burger King does not equate to good eating. McDonalds may be good for you but BK can give you heart disease. Or something.
In other news, work today was okay. Got patronised by a pack of batteries I bought at Tesco for 64p as it said 'Fit batteries the correct way observing the polarity (+/-), under adult supervision'. I mean I'm 23 for fuck's sake! Adult supervision indeed. What, they don't trust us? I see that the French just had 'Respecter les polarites (+/-). No adults for them I see. Maybe their kids are more sensible. Or just like blowing themselves up. Still, the cheek!
