Well Manchester. What can be said? First of all sorry for my random mood swings throughout the weekend - I was very bipolar for some reason and I don't really know why. I tried to hide it but to all those I worried - I apologise. It happens sometimes - just part of my character I guess.

Generally the meet was good. Arrived with Wolfie on the Friday evening, checked into the glamorous hotel we had booked and then headed down the Village to meet up with Wolfybaby, Kenno, Sil and a few others. Drinking ensued (drunk furs are funny hehe) then back to prepare for the main meet.

It was the biggest meet I had done and it was somewhat overwhelming to see that Manchester Piccadiliy had a fur infestation. It was good meeting up with some old friends and as we descended to Via I met many more. Greyscar phoned and asked me to pick him up from the station - before which I had a discussion with a perplexed 60 year old guy in Via asking us who we all were. I think I made him more perplexed with my answer.

Came back carrying a CD drive to much amusement (for some reason) and then made my way round as many people as possible (but sadly not everyfur). Disappeared off to Sil's event (big up for him organising it and the hostel - it was amazingly executed) which was great fun then back to Canal Street for antics.

In many ways Saturday evening was perplexingly exhilerating. It was disorientating at times (but that may have had something to do with the number of double vodkas and Coke I had had) but I have never been in a more friendly atmosphere in my life. I just love it when I see people being the people they want to be and although it was a little strange for someone who has only recently accepted who he is (and on his first proper night out in a gay district) must admit I had a great time. Okay the guy dressed in the Boro shirt was unnerving - but he was nice too hehe.

Afterwards Crosseyed and Kenno dragged us down to Jilly's which was pretty much my heaven. When you walk through the door and Rammstein "Sonne" is the first thing being played you know you're going to have a good night. Did some good old fashioned moshing with Wolfybaby and Crosseyed and spent a sum total of £150 on alcoholic drinks - least over the weekend. Got back at 3am pissed and my pants ended up in random places. Still don't quite know how that happened.

Sunday was largely one of me feeling rough. Alcohol compared with emotional mood-swings does not a good combination make but "Piartes Of The Caribbean 3: NOT (surprisingly) The Inevitably Disappointing Sequel" made up for that. I didn't like the first PotC one but this one was good - perhaps it was the company I was with.

Chatted to Urban and StarPaw most that afternoon and both are great guys - I enjoyed their company very much. Then it was off back home via the medium of Leeds, exhausted but happy at the weekend's proceedings.

As you may be aware there may be a little gathering in Middlesbrough this Sunday (3 June) if people are up for it. It'd be great to see some of you down there :)
