You know when you're in one of those moods where all you want to do is chase your tail round and round? Well that's how I feel at the moment.

Today I was in Heckmonwike doing some fursuit charity work with [profile] greyscar and [profile] wolfie_uk. It was great being back in fursuit for the first time since EF and I think we've raised a fair bit of money for the Kirkwood Hospice. The more work I do on their behalf the more poignant and moving stories I hear from the people who have had to call on the Hospice to care for their loved ones during their final days. This makes me even more determined to keep fundraising for them as they are such a worthy cause. I am also proud that in my own little way I am making a difference - even if that means arsing about in a fursuit in public :-)

Today's mission was a three hour stint in a local Morrisons, which descended into a sponsored huggathon! It was also the debut of Lupestripe in a fundraising sense and I'm glad to say he got a very positive response from the public. Today was also unique for me as I was the only one suiting so I tried to put in an extra special performance. I hope I succeeded. The people I met all seemed to love Lupe and his naughty antics (he can be a bad husky from time to time :-P) - I just hope we've raised a fair bit - it'd be a nice finishing touch to what has been a great day.

Well that was a particularly miserable summer. And true to form the first day if autumn is grey and miserable. I hate the weather.

This is an idea I've had for a while but I don't know how feasable it is.

8 November 1973 saw the release of the best movie ever made - Disney's Robin Hood. To celebrate I want to do a screening of it somewhere where we can have a Robin Hood themed party. It'd be a bit like a Rocky Horror party only with less fishnets and more foxtails. And perhaps some chips and dips too :-)

What would also be good is if we could have a simultaneous watching of the DVD across the Furry globe - so furs in the USA and Europe can watch it at exactly the same time - perhaps in a con-call/webcast environment.

As I say I don't know how feasable it is - it's just one of those random flights of whimsy I sometimes have - but it'd be great to do if we could find a way of doing it.
