Fursuit Bowling

I rarely write about Newcastle meets for reasons I can't really isolate. Tiredness probably plays a factor. Drunkenness, definitely. Having a sore rump, possibly. All of life's little vicissitudes melding into a fragmented thought pattern that dares take me away from putting digit to keyboard and dribbling on it.

It was great catching up with everyone again, it was just a shame that there seemed to be a lot of idiots out in force today. I can't make the next meet due to being in Amsterdam on business but I trust you will all have a good time. Indeed, it will probably be a two day Bank Holiday meet and I should be there on the Monday.

P.S. And Tyler said that he liked my journal. Thanks hun *hugs* - I just write wibble really but glad you enjoy reading :)

Two Years Ago...

Friday 6 April 2007 was Good Friday that year and the weather was sunny and warm. I had arranged a little furry gathering in Leeds that day and, from memory, about twelve of us gathered to enjoy the spring sunshine. It is a day I will always remember, not just because of the fun we had but because it was the day that Wolfie and I got together.

He asked me in Starbucks in front of greyscar . I think he was a little nervous giving the tag to me for fear of what I would say but I gratefully accepted it and became his partner and pet. Two years on and we are still together, signifying my longest ever relationship.

He always has a way of picking me up when I feel down and this weekend was a case in point. He is a truly special guy and one I am honoured to be going out with him. I am even more in love now than I was back then and I hoping that this love will only get stronger. I know I am very lucky to have him.
