I am not going to do the Y/N meme, largely because it's the most dull and uninspiring meme I have ever read on LJ. Still, graafen 's meme is a good one so I will do that :)

Do you have any brothers and sisters?

If yes to the above, how do you fit in the age range?

One brother and one sister, aged 24 and 19.

What qualifications do you have?

Twelve GCSEs (9A*, 3A), Four A-Levels (A,A,A,B), BA Hons (University of Cambridge), MA Hons (University of Cambridge), MA Hons (University of York), TEFL Language certificate and probably some swimming badges from when I was eight.

What do you do for a living?

I am a director of a small website design and media company. We focus on tailored news services in the sports and music industries predominantly but we try our hands at anything really.

What is/was your ambition in life?

My initial aim was to travel around the world really. I never really had a set target. At one point, I wanted to be a scientist but I got bored with that at University. I also wanted to be a civil servant but working for the Government for 18 months demoralised me due to its inefficiency and profligate waste of money. I also wanted to be an archaeologist for a while but the Uni courses I did prevented me from following that path.

My main ambition was to get a book published, which I achieved in October of last year in an editorial capacity. My second one is coming out at the end of the year. I would like to get some of my fiction published.

What kind of music do you like?

Anything with a guitar but largely metal - particularly of the German and Finnish variety.

What kind of films do you like?

I rarely watch films but I like thought-provoking opuses. This means I tend to eschew Hollywood blockbusters for small, independent films. My favourite movies are Disney's Robin Hood, Donnie Darko, Momento and Requiem For A Dream.

What would be your ideal holiday?

South America. I love the culture, particularly the Incan civilisation, and the topography is so varied that every country is different. I love observing different countries and cultures, meeting new and interesting people.
