LJ resurgence

Like little shoots of spring before they are decimated by the final winter frost, it would seem LJ is having a resurgence - and this despite it's ridiculous adverts and silly games leading to increased spam in my inbox.

I am starting to feel there may be a slight backlash against twitter even though the two are completely different mediums. I use both but for different purposes but I can understand the opprobrium of some against twitter who felt forced into using it as all their friends had migrated over there. I felt the same about Facebook - the only reason I went there was because it was the only way I would hear about events which were being planned. Let's now hope a happy medium can be reached. And just because LJ may be dying with the fandom it doesn't mean it's dying overall.

Since I got an iPhone I also have more tome to update my journal as I can do it whilst on the bus having my space invaded by people who either shout on their phones or who can't turn their personal stereos down. It's morrissey today.

Of course it's difficult to type due to the roads being so bumpy but then I have known third world countries with better infrastructure. Still expect more from me over the coming weeks :)
