Being An Archivist

One of the reasons I write my journal so extensively is that it documents my thoughts and experiences, allowing me to reminisce or remember things that time makes us forget. Yesterday's denial of service attacks made me realize how fragile this data is so I have now backed up every entry. Does anyone else do this? And what are the main reasons for having your journal? I fear I will forget vast swathes of my life, hence my documentation of it.

I also saw Despicable Me for the first time yesterday. Great movie and I did cry on occasions. I am waaaaay too sensitive. Still it was a charming tale. I have also ordered the DVD of Alpha and Omega - I loved this film it was so sweet and cute. Can't wait to see it again - I relate to Omega so much. Shame it couldn't have been a gay tale though.
