Ich Bin Ein Stegosaurus

Motivation is a real struggle for me at the moment. Combined with the grey dreary mornings which are hardly conducive in helping one get out of bed, the completion of my additional work project means there is far less to do in the office. And what I do have to do is frighteningly dull.

When I have a reason to get up, I can get up early and get to work but when I don't, I have a tendency to lie in. This is a shame as now I get back home at 7pm rather than the 5.30pm of before, giving me less free time in an evening and less time with Wolfie. Thing is I am at a loose end when I get home and struggle to find the energy to do anything. This doesn't help my motivation in getting out of bed of a morning either.

From A Negative, A Positive Comes

With my inability to go to EF, I am thinking of going to Rainfurrest next year.

Seattle is a city I have always wanted to visit plus a couple of my close friends may also be going to the con. I also know a couple of members of staff on the Rainfurrest committee which is another big plus.

Travelling over there will give me the opportunity to explore Vancouver and the beautiful western coast of Canada, as well as visiting the US, a country I haven't visited since 2000. 12 years is probably too long and there are many American furs I should probably meet.

Nothing is confirmed yet, of course, but I have been meaning to do Rainfurrest for quite a while now. The major reason I haven't is because of the con's close proximity to EF in the calendar but in 2012 this may not be an issue. From a negative, a positive comes.
