Three Things

During a particularly crappy week when I have been lethargic, not sleeping and Wolfie has a hideous cold, three things last night cheered me up.

1) The 'Arrival' of my ABBA box set containing their entire back catalogue.
2) Some kinky stuff coming in the post.
3) A letter notifying me of a tax rebate for the 2006/07 financial year. This was a pleasant surprise and not an inconsiderable sum too.

Now all I need is First Bus to stop canceling services or ending them prematurely and I may be able to have a commute home of five miles which takes less than 90 minutes. Their service has reached whole new levels of shiteness in the last week which makes me wonder whether they are experimenting on how much they can pull to enhance their profit margin. No competition here of course, not at ground level, so this is another privatization done badly. Proper competition may induce a better service but we don't have that here.
