Pudseycon went rather well, considering it was a last-minute affair. Noticing that the vast majority of my local close friends hadn't been invited to a New Year Party, we decided to throw one of our own at our house. We bought 10 blocks of cheese, watched hours upon hours of Come Dine With Me, ate three massive pizzas and consumed three toilet rolls. We also had drinks in the pub, drinks in the house and a miniature Henry vacuum cleaner for the lulz (as the young kids say).
It was a really relaxed affair, which kicked off with Friday in the pub, ended with Sunday in the pub with a lot of sofa sprawling in between. The obligatory Bond movie, watching the fireworks illuminating the skies and having some good craic with brilliant friends was on the cards. People stayed at ours, we bought loads of nibbles and it was an all-round relaxed affair. We may repeat it next year - who knows, Pudseycon could take off ^^
