Hehe sounds great fun - I'd love to come party with Exile and make all the fanboys and girls swoon! After my EF experiences I would love to do FC2008 but it's a little too soon for me to get the funds and the time off work. Plus I would like to stay in California for a few weeks so FC2009 is definitely better. I'm looking forward to it already.
Moshing in a fursuit is something else and I would have loved to have done it to something like Rammstein or Oomph! Techno in suit was cool but as it's not my type of music it all started to sound the same after an hour or so. It was a common complaint voiced in the Fursuit Lounge - a lot of us would have liked a little more cheese, if not some good old fashioned rock 'n' roll.
I was extremely bouncy when awake but I don't really sleep enough (I have two jobs so I work too hard) and it all caught up with me during the time I was off. This didn't stop me staying up until at least 2am on most nights however and I was so unbearably bouncy on the mornings that I'm amazed that Wolfie is still with me! As little happened until noon anyway I was happy to live a 3-11am sleeping existence so, although I was quite tired (excitement played such a huge factor with that one), I still had the time of my life, despite sometimes finding it hard to get up. Despite this however, for the first time in ages I was desperate to get out of bed on some days so it must have been great!
I found that the food was over-priced for what it was but when you have a captive market then that's always going to be the case. The quality of the buffet was good - usual standard fare really - but I thought €15 per person (about $20) was a little steep. But that (and the key issue) are only minor gripes in a period that was so amazing. I'll definitely be there next year!
