The Portuguese League is weaker than the Premiership, that's true. And if we got into Europe again I think we'd do quite well. But with the dominance of the top four teams in England, plus the fact that no foreign investors want to buy Middlesbrough, a lifetime of mid-table mediocrity looms :(
