Liverpool City Council is ridiculous - you can't do anything in that city. I love Liverpool a lot - it's a unique place and has a fantastic atmosphere but for some reason they are really authoritarian when it comes to law enforcement. If a bunch of adults can't meet in a park at 2pm then what is society coming to? It's quite worrying if you think about it.
He did get the sign falling on him but we don't know how. All we saw was him lying prostrate on the floor with the thing on top of him. We didn't see how he did it but the only way I could think of is if he grabbed it himself. I think he was drunk but he may just have stumbled. It's difficult to know as he was stumbling badly but then he'd just been hit by a heavy sign.
The Snow Fox? Patter? I'm sure you've met him - he may have been at April's Leeds Meet. Can't quite remember now. He was definitely in Leeds in July when we saw my friend's rock band in the Duck and Drake. He's new to the whole LJ experience hehe.
