So after my little adventure in Copenhagen three weeks ago, lo and behold my possessions were searched at Dublin Airport as part of another "random" check. Unfortunately, I cannot comprehend what they could have suspected in my bag as there was nothing suspicious in there that would have even shown up on an X-Ray. Also, they didn't find anything after their search either. However, they did have the unenviable delight of searching through all my pup play stuff, two Zeta toys and a humbler. I hope they enjoyed but again, I can't help but feel that my privacy has once again been invaded.

Meanwhile, we discovered that we cannot take a bottle of Guinness on to the plane, nor a jar of marmalade (which was in Wolfie's bag). The former I should have known, the latter is ridiculous. I can only assume it's the size of the container that is the problem because if terrorists start using the explosive powers of marmalade, I think we may all have a problem. I am starting to become unsure about the necessity of these stringent checks. Of course, everything should be done in order to make flying safer but I think things are starting to become silly.

And again, why is it me who always gets searched. Is it part of an age/gender thing I wonder?
