About five of the Russian furs in question are on LJ, they are on my friends list. I could point them out to you if you like.
Kontakt is just a chain bar but it does some excellent beer at very cheap prices. It is also open until 6am which is another huge bonus. Plus their pickle pepperoni pizza is sooooo good.
Definitely get a good camera for the trip - we did some of our pics with an iPhone and others with a proper camera. It'll be obvious to tell which is which.
