I have never been a fan of sweet things in general. I do like lemon and sugar with my pancakes and your orange suggestion sounds nice too. All waffles I have tried have been stodgy and American.
Look Around You had excellent episodes and poor ones, it was a very odd series. Maths is my favourite.
Instead of a cheese night, perhaps we could do a cheese pancake night ^^
