A Splash Of Colour

lupestripeMy best friend from my university days is pregnant! She's expecting a baby girl in mid-July. I am so pleased and happy for her - really delighted. I'm buzzing right now :)
*This has made me wonder about time passing by though. My friend will be 30 in two weeks, which is a perfectly natural time to have kids. But it does highlight that we are all getting older, settling down, starting families. There's merit in this but also fears of getting old too, conforming even. Everyone has a different path in life but it does show that my youthful days are fast receding. It's amazing how perspectives change over time.
