Reasons To Be Cheerful...

1) Today I have felt self-belief for the first time in about two months. It is very rare I feel this way about myself.
2) The panes of glass in the windows that my friend broke have now been fixed and a line can now be firmly drawn underneath the incident.
3) Middlesbrough guaranteed their Premier League survival by beating Portsmouth 2-0 this afternoon. This means my job is far more secure than it was this time yesterday plus, of course, I have the added high of the Boro winning. This is one of the reasons why I was so manic last week when watching the football at the Leeds meet - it's more than just football, it is also my livelihood.
4) I have realised how much I love this Fandom and all those within it.
I rarely feel confident about myself but at the moment I am on a real high. The last week has demonstrated to me not only how much I love this Fandom but also how much I am loved within it. I have had fears that I don't fit in but the last week has changed that. Maybe I am not as bad as I believe I am and perhaps I should give myself a chance - it is this that I need to work on.
If you are coming to the Newcastle meet tomorrow, I look forward to seeing you. If not then I hope I will catch up with you real soon *hugs*
