The difference between this and the E4 thing is that Bizarre is a magazine that specifically caters to such subcultures. If you buy/look at the magazine you are going to be into the same stuff so there is less of a social stigma because if people you don't want to see you actually see you then the question that must be asked is why are they looking in the magazine in the first place?
E4 is a national TV channel meanwhile and as such, anyone can just stumble upon it one evening. This means there is far greater likelihood for your boss/colleagues/family members etc will see you and that could make life difficult.
As we discussed before, I personally think people should be consulted before the media descend but if you have to sign forms and waivers granting your permission for your photo to be used, then that shouldn't be an issue either.
