The Fur's About To Fly!

Well what can I say? Sorry for the lack of updates - just been busy and lazy. So what's happened? One word - FUR!
Courage is a strange thing really - something I don't really have in abundance. But back in December I found some and did something I should have done a long time ago. I officially became a fur.
It's always been in me - what my ex called 'the wolf thing'. And I have known about fur for about three years but I never had the courage to join. Granted it was partly due to the fact that I didn't think fur existed outside London but it was also because of a lack of confidence. Anywho, when I found Northern Furs on 12 December I just felt the time was right. A week later, on 19 December, I joined the Furnet IRC. It made my Christmas and at the moment it is also making my New Year. It's been a release - a release on so many levels it's untrue. Hopefully it will continue - can't wait til my first Furmeet - it promises to be an interesting day.
In other news tomorrow night we are having an Eeyore Party at Sumo! Can't wait - it's the first time I'll have been to the Corner House and indeed the first time I went clubbing since the moshing wolf fursuit extravaganza that was Hallowe'en. The Eeyore Party was an idea mooted for my birthday but was postponed due to flu - hopefully tomorrow we can make up for that. Plushes, make-up, heavy metal and hard-core drinking. Fantastic!

It was great chatting last night, I'd like to get to know you more too - your LJ looks very interesting. Best way to do it is MSN if you have it (see the address in my profile) or on FurNet of course - I just keep coming back! Hehe.
