I seem to be finding it harder and harder to write on LJ these days. It's not that my enthusiasm for it has waned, it's just that I don't have anything interesting to say. My creativity is coming in fits and starts at the moment, which is frustrating, but I guess that's the way creativity works. I have never been able to control it.

Still a few things have happened in the world of Lupe. Yesterday, I was awarded a pay increase, which I am obviously pleased about. It was in the region of what I was hoping for but I never really expected it so it was a nice surprise when it was awarded. I have also been told that I need to take more time off this year so increased pay for less work - doesn't sound too bad a deal really.

As a result of all this, last night I got drunk. Very drunk. So drunk that I thought it would be a good idea to take all of the food in the fridge belonging to one of the guys I live with and throw it over the wall. I don't know why I did that. In the process, I managed to give the cars in the car park a nice chili sauce glaze, as well as doing the same to my friend's trousers. I may have some explaining to do.

Anyways, after this bout of anti-social behaviour, I logged on to MSN and IRC. I thought I was obviously drunk but speaking to [livejournal.com profile] lsfiox  today, he said that he couldn't tell as I was writing coherent sentences. However, going on to a Finnish channel and talking about the nuances of the Finnish language suggests an element of drunken mentalness. So the question I have for you is: When I am drunk and I am online, is it obvious? I think it is but Fioxy doesn't.

Another thing that came to me today was why doesn't a fursuit maker make slippers for furries? I know that BHS and Matalan do novelty slippers in the shape of wolves' feet but mine are falling apart after merely two months. Perhaps there is a gap in the market there for a top quality novelty slipper product.

Today I went to York to see [livejournal.com profile] lsfiox  and [livejournal.com profile] redmoor . It was great to catch up with them again and spend a relaxed day walking around the city.

First of all, Fioxy took me to the Designer Outlet Shopping Centre where we went through the Bagel Hole - I had cream cheese and salmon - before I had an orgasm whilst sucking on a Lindt white chocolate ball I bought from the Lindt shop. Indeed it was chocolate all the way as I had a White Hot Chocolate from Thorntons (very, very tasty) and I bought a hell of a lot of chocolate from the Lindt shop. Fioxy succumbed to the temptation of the wall of chocolate reindeer.

I liked the Outlet Mall but it was all clothes shops and chocolate shops, as far as I could see. We also saw a Nissan Cube - a fantastic car and definitely top of my Christmas list this year.

After this we went to meet Redmoor who had just finished work before heading into town for a bite to eat. You can't argue with £4.95 for fish and chips and much mirth and merriment ensued. We discussed fun, frolics and furry before it was time to go home - but not before Fioxy had twonked his 3m long aerial on a low bridge at the train station and copious amounts of rose had been drunk. Looking forward to doing it again sometime guys :-)

Thanks hun, I am rather pleased with how it's gone. It doesn't kick in until 1 February but no biggie, it's going to be nice to have more money to visit furs and perhaps buy another fursuit :)

Chili sauce probably tastes nicer on trousers than on the side of a dirty removal van (another place it went). At least my friend (or someone else perhaps) could suck it off his trousers...
