ConFuzzled 2010 Dates Annouced

Looks like I won't be attending ConFuzzled next year then.

The dates - 7th to 10th May 2010 - clash with the final day of the football season again and getting the time off work this year was difficult enough. I doubt I can get those days off work next year so no ConFuzzled for me I'm afraid. Still, with the money I save, I may be able to go to AC next year, which is something I would really like to do so it's not all doom and gloom.

It's a shame as CF's theme of SCIENCE! promises to be a good one, particularly as my degree is in the History and Philosophy of Science. Still, it looks like it's not to be.

It's a shame but there is little I can do about it. There may be a chance but I don't want to risk the wrath after this year. I also feel I have done CF and would like to experience something new.

Seriously though, even if you can't make it over, there's lots of other cons to get the chance to catch up with folks at. Besides, this is still a year away, and a lot can happen in a year anyway, so who knows!

Yep, you're right. Cons for me are becoming mere meet extensions and as you say, there are many other opportunities for me to meet folks elsewhere :)

Well if they ever stop drawing the pretty pictures and make some decisions, there could even be one up in Scotland a few weeks beforehand which might be an easier date for you to get to anyway. ^^
