Eufuria - 4-6 June 2010

There is a new furry convention in the offing and it takes place in a city that is definitely worth visiting - Copenhagen, Denmark.

This will be the Nordic countries' first ever con but Pinky Fennec, the chairman, is hoping to make it a pan-European convention. Wolfie and I are almost certainly going to attend and it would be great if we can have a little UK gathering there. It is going to be an intimate and cozy affair - say 80 or so furs - so it will be a nice change from the massive cons that are becoming more and more the norm these days.

Copenhagen is easy to get to by cheap airlines and the highlight of the con promises to be fursuiting around Tivoli Gardens - a large outdoor funfair slap bang in the middle of Copenhagen. I may also suit in the adjacent Build A Bear Workshop.

The Danes are also world experts at deserts (Danish Pastries) and it is a really friendly and hospitable city so if you are stuck for things to do at the start of June, or if you are interested in sampling a European con that is smaller than EF, then I strongly recommend you to consider Eufuria :)

I might be up for this, depends on what the cost are of the con and what it costs to get to Copenhagen.

Don't know about the suiting at the Build A bear, there's a ton of those shops here in the UK already. I would be like suiting at a Micky Dee's.

Getting to Copenhagen by cheap airline is quite easy and reasonably inexpensive. As for con prices, I don't know what they are yet but they are sounding favourable.

Hmm, the fear with suiting in Build A Bear is that someone will attach you to that nozzle and pump you full of stuffing.

It's a month after Confuzzled but I am sure you can still do it hehe. I won't be at CF so I am thinking of going to this one. I visited Copenhagen in March and it was a great place. Excellent cakes. Would like to visit it again sometime :)
