Dreaming (Of Another Angel)
Jun. 28th, 2006 07:14 pmA forest stands amidst despair
Crying tears of leaves on autumn dew
That turns life to death within its rage
To hope that hope can glimmer through
Alone and lost within its sea
And chained to what it has to be
Enshrined within a bitter kiss
That wails a pecant sorcery
But like a wolf this wind will bite
And whip chaffs of pain through battered skin
And turn to ruin all that it holds
To seal the purity within
And to the angels we must pray
But in their song resides a knife
With lilting strings to suicide
In the extinguishing of eternal life
Crying tears of leaves on autumn dew
That turns life to death within its rage
To hope that hope can glimmer through
Alone and lost within its sea
And chained to what it has to be
Enshrined within a bitter kiss
That wails a pecant sorcery
But like a wolf this wind will bite
And whip chaffs of pain through battered skin
And turn to ruin all that it holds
To seal the purity within
And to the angels we must pray
But in their song resides a knife
With lilting strings to suicide
In the extinguishing of eternal life
