Stand-Up Comedy
Jan. 14th, 2009 10:15 pmI've just bought tickets to go and see Dylan Moran (of Black Books fame) and Andy Parsons (of Mock The Week fame) live in concert at Middlesbrough Town Hall in February.
I'm massively excited. I saw Moran in Cambridge in 2004 and he was one of the best comedians I have ever seen (even if he did slag off my home town).
Meanwhile, Parsons is a comedian I have wanted to see ever since he broke on to the circuit in the mid-90s.
I used to go and watch most of the famous stand-ups but like with music, I have become a little apathetic of late. Hopefully, this will kick start it again. There's nothing like a live performance :-)
Which comedians have you seen and which ones would you like to see?
ADDENDUM: I have decided to see Ed Bryne at the same venue too. This means I will be seeing three comedy shows in the space of a week. Should be quite a fun week. Well, you need to laugh in February. It keeps you sane :-)
