Pythagorean Metal And Dog Sausages
Jul. 21st, 2009 03:35 pmDo you want to listen to Pythagoras' Theorem sung by a German metal band with accompanying neo-classical video? Of course you do so here is Knorkator's Wie Weit Ist Es Bis Zum Horizont? (How Far Is To The Horizon?) for your viewing pleasure.

I have spent the last two days in Äänekoski at a furry house party with jari, hiru and hiru's nephew. It has been good relaxing in a friendly furry environment although I am itching to get out and do something - hence why I may go into the woods in search of the big bad wolf. Where's my red cape?
There's not much to report really as all I have been doing is relaxing. I saw some dog sausages in a supermarket the other day and thought they were actually made of dogs, Vietnamese style. As it turns out, Pedigree Chum make sausages FOR dogs, made out of lamb and chicken and stuff. Still, it's in that packaging that ready to eat bologni type sausages comes in and there are pictures of dogs on the front, which is a little worrying. Still the marrowbone jelly one sounded nice, a bit like that aspic jelly stuff you get in pork pies. I wanted to buy some but jari didn't want to see me eating dog food.
I also saw Hiru's sister and her fantastic dog, who just wanted to play. He was so sweet and loved nuzzling me, it was amazing. Her house is in the middle of the Finnish woodland, near the largest wood conservation project in Finland, and the scenery is very unique, with tall trees plunging into the verdent earth. The bottom half of the trees are branchless but the top branches have many leaves. There are also many mosquitos here and I got bitten numerous times, particularly on my head, so I now look like Mr Blobby.
This largely happened last night when we barbequed sausages in the rain. The cheesey (non-dog) sausages spurted spoo all over my crotch and it was embarrassing :( Finnish cheese is also to die for and I have eaten a whole block already. I am so getting fat - particularly when added to the 8% lager I have been drinkng :)
Apart from that, saw Crank 2: High Voltage, which was mysogonistic, macho and largely terrible although there was an element of humour injected in places, particularly with the electro dog collar. Being on the receiving end of these things, I know how much power they can course through you. Not pleasant.
Jari has also been getting me into lots of new music, particularly excellent German and Finnish metal. CMX may be fast becoming my favourite band and Korpiklaani's drink fuelled music would enhance any party - all hail the drink!! I have discovered a whole host of cool bands these last 24 hours and I will tell you more about them in due course - as well as jari's drunken gig stories. Maybe :P
The other thing he has shown me is the Angry Video Game Nerd, which is hilariously done and executed, although he may be a closet furry, what with the shitting on a guy in a Bugs Bunny suit and then the lion from the Wizard of Oz shitting on the game of the same name. Still, it was a nice blast to the past, of a time when I actually played video games, and the reviews were hilarious and spot on. And lols at Atari Porn ;)
