As I finally need to do something about the hideous growing cancer that is my belly, I have started to jog around a local field where I live. Initially, I was scared what people would think - fat bloke pounding the streets sort of affair - but the field is quite isolated and if I do it late at night, very few people are around. It was a killer today though - I only got through two circuits of the field (I guess about a mile) and that was half-walking half-jogging. Still, I am going to keep going at it to improve my stamina - plus it's amazing what listening to a little motivational music whilst exercising can do. I also need to try and cut alcohol but this shouldn't be too difficult, particularly as I have few social events over the next few weeks. I desperately tried to find my jockstrap but I left it at home - I think I may be buying a new one over the next few days. After all, I may as well have a little fun whilst I am exercising. And it may support things down there ;-)
