More House Moving Stuff

The house move is going well but there seems to be an endless list of jobs that need to be done, many of which not aided by the fact it takes a fortnight in this country to install a phone line and Internet connection.

Anyway, the contents of the flat have been moved across and our former place has been cleaned. New tenants, those downstairs from number 9, want to move in and we will give the keys back to the landlord on Friday. At home, we need to do some clearing up and put up a few shelves but we are largely there now.

In terms of admin, I think I've changed the addresses on all things apart from the DVLA, CAMRA and potentially council tax once I get to grips with their ridiculous system. I've told them but I can't include Wolfie on the form so I don't know how that works. No doubt I will have to ring them and sort it.

Anyway, despite a ridiculously high amount of things to do, we are almost there. Internet will be installed before 24th and we are getting a water meter fitted on February 7th - again, why the delay I don't know. The dungeon has been completed, we've done all the decorating we need to and it's starting to look like a home. Hopefully then we can start to relax and do stuff like go to the gym, which we have neglected since November due to the move.
