I think I am going to become one of those odd old men who spends their day shouting at random people in the street. I already talk to myself on a daily basis as it is and sometimes it's hard to fight the urge to be strange at close range. Those people scare me though so it's probably not wise to follow the insanity.

I discovered today the rate I can charge for overtime has increased by £5 per shift. It's a modest increase but should earn me an extra £150 a year for a modest workrate and £250 if I really go at it on top of the standard overtime rate. At least the safety net of potential overtime is there - I do feel lucky to have found such a good employer after the unpleasant ways of the last one.

My cold has got progressively worse as the day has progressed - I am drowning in my own mucus. It may be hayfever on second thoughts as I do suffer from that more acutely now I have moved to Leeds.

Aside from that, I have a package to collect from the Post Office this evening. I think it's the rubber I ordered so hopefully I will have a rubber collar soon *wags*

Good news! (Aside from your rate of mucus production.)

If mucus was legal tender, I'd be a millionaire.

It was Father Jack who kept saying 'drink'. A brilliant show, I haven't watched it for so long.
