It's amazing when good fortune seems to be following you. Perhaps you make your own, I don't know. The weekend was one of unbridled partying that I have only just managed to come down from. Expensive yes but ultimately fantastic. And surely that is what life is all about.
Went to Sumo in the Boro on Friday but sadly there were no Eeyores present so we didn't have our plush party :( I should've brought mine but I left him at work where he is now stradling two desks because the kidnapping one has finally relented and realised how great plushes are. Hehe. Still, there were some top quality tunes (I even got the DJ to play 'Mein Teil' by Rammstein after much persuasion), I met some cool peeps and got hideously drunk so all in all it was a good night.
Then I went home and decided to go on IRC for an hour to sober up. This turned into five hours and I didn't go to bed til 8am, by which time Tazzy and I had conjured up a mini-meet idea on 4 February, should furs be up for it.
Saturday saw me at a house party in Leeds, which was amazing. The snow falling delicately to the ground at 1.30am was one of such picturesque beauty it was one of those special moments that you sometimes get. I was out in it for half an hour by all accounts but it felt far shroter. A truly amazing evening.
Came back home late Sunday evening via York. I tried to find the book "The Three Little Wolves And The Big Bad Pig" but alas Borders didn't have it. Met a few uni mates, had a few drinks and went home for some more furry fun.
Cue to find the mini-meet which Tazzy and I had drunkenly proposed all but arranged! Thanks Fioxy *nuzzlick*. Must admit I was surprised - an emotion that soon turned into excitement at its very prospect. And suffice to say I am still stoked! So looks like my first furmeet will be on 4 February and I really can't wait - hope to see some of you there!
*hugs* and *licks* to all.
