lupestripeDoes anyone remember a kids programme (CITV I think) called Pet Swap starring Dave Benson Phillips? I think it was on about ten years ago and involved children swapping places with their pets.
All I remember was that the kids had to dress up as dogs/cats/hamsters/chinchillas or whatever and then perform tasks as their pets. So if they were hamsters they would have to run around a giant obstacle course in one of those giant balls or something.
I also remember Dave Benson Phillips pretending to phone their pets to ask them how they thought their owners were getting on. All it was was some poor producer backstage putting on voices for these pets, telling their owners how proud of them they are. I remember the chinchilla one had such a bad Mexican accent I would have probably disowned the pet as soon as I got home. Poor thing.
Does anyone remember this or is it the result of some scary dream phase I had a decade ago?
