Christmas Shopping

Granted all I did was go into Marks & Spencer with a gameplan but even after a mere twenty minutes, I felt harried, pushed and frustrated by my fellow shoppers. Still at least I got what I wanted to get and no it's not socks and underpants thank you very much!
Christmas shopping this year wasn't all too bad, largely because I only spent twenty minutes doing it. Still a few interesting incidents occurred, including the woman who thought that the "Baskets only" aisle didn't apply to her, so she decided to take her entire bloody trolley with her. Ten bloody minutes I waited behind her.
And what is it with dawdling people and Christmas shopping? All they do is amble more slowly than a Virgin Train and test the patience more often than a doctor with OCD. Surely you just get in there, buy what you want and get the fuck out as soon as possible. Ah well, maybe I've got it wrong.
P.S. And why is M&S so white now?! It's like being strip-searched in a police interrogation, it's so white I was expecting Danny Baker to come around the corner with a camera crew and a packet of Daz...
