The Scurge Of East Enders

I believe that East Enders is a considerable contributor to the vast majority of social problems in the UK.
It teaches kids that it is acceptable to solve your disputes using violence and shouting, whilst many other base human attributes are glamorised, including binge drinking. This programme has absolutely no positive message - it is continually grim and depressing and I fail to see one positive aspect of it.
Some may feel that it reflects society and that society and soaps are symbiotic. I am not so sure about that. It may sound like an odd view but it's one that I am starting to think has some bearing.
