I've just realised that I won't be going to another Northern fur meet until October. This means that I'll be going a whole five months without Northernness, which I think is my longest ever. July's Chester meet clashes with the 10th Anniversary London Meet, August's York Meet clashes with EF (and even if it's moved, I will have to work that weekend) and September's Liverpool Meet is far too far for me to get to (although I may go if I feel like it).

Still, to compensate I am thinking of arranging another Tea Shoppe Crawle in York, perhaps for one Sunday in August. Anyone interested?

The 10th Anniversary London Meet is a week tomorrow and I am starting to get stoked for it. 10 years of furriness in the captial - sounds like something to celebrate. And with 11 hours of drinking time, I'm sure I will. What else is an "Honourary London Fur" supposed to do? :-)

Finally, I am off to Finland tomorrow for a few furry days with the Finnfurs. The plan includes visiting Tampere to see Vin, Jyväskylä to see Jari and Foxshot and Äänekoski to see Hiru. If anyone else fancies a pink husky visit, let me know.

I hear we have a car for a few days so I think I'll be doing a little exploring of the Finnish countryside too, which is something I didn't get to do last year. The countryside is stunning with forests and lakes so hopefully I can get in touch with my inner husky in the land of huskies. I may also get to go to a proper sauna, not one that involves various sweaty men watching me have sex, which will be nice.
