Fursuit Findings

Today I bought a Fursuit. It's a football fanatic dog character which will go down really well on our Paws For Cause missions. It was quite cheap too and is of exceptionally high quality. I had initially wanted a cute female dog but the arms were too small. Thankfully the nice lady could offer me something else and I fell in love with him!
I am currently traversing from darkest Middlesex back up to Leeds with him using public transport. He is in a giant red body bag so I am getting many funny looks. The town of Hampton, where I have just been, was nice - typical Middlesex commuter belt territory. Very leafy and suburban. I have been there twice in 24 hours with a trip to Cambridge in between. No wonder I am knackered!
Thanks go to my ex-girlfriend who allowed me to share a taxi with her to go across London due to the closure of the Victoria Line and my uni mate Matt who withdrew £200 for me as I had reached my daily cash withdrawal limit.
I left Hampton disappointed yesterday when the female dog didn't fit. Someone else was interested in footballer dog so I had to wait until this lunchtime to hear back. I was in Cambridge when I heard I was the preferred bidder - I am sure largely down to the fact I could pay upfront and I had spent a charming two hours drinking tea with the seller's mother on Friday - so I rushed back down to pick him up. It has been quite an adventure this weekend.
