lupestripe | A Computing Crisis

I have always had a bad history with computers. Part of the problem is that I lack even the basic skills to maintain them so when things go wrong, they do so spectacularly. It's a shame we are all slaves to these machines but I can't do work and would have a poorer social life without them. Anyway, Wolfie is now installing a new version of Windows, a memory upgrade and all my programs again after many became corrupted or closed down for no discernible reason. Hopefully I will have a better machine as a result.

*one wheelchair, two large buggies and about 70 people make this bus journey to work one of the worst ever. This is enhanced by my fear I have left the oven on. Hooray paranoia!

** the lack of ability to crosspost from LJ to Dream Width plus the lack of an app for the latter means LJ will be my home for the foreseeable. Dream Width simply doesn't fit in with how and where I blog so will be a backup journal only.
