Massages And Saunas

Wolfie and I went for a massage last night. After yesterday's nightmare day at work, I needed it, although the torrential rain threatened my appearance at the appointment (all hail one of my staff who kindly drove me there through the rain). My masseuse was a tattooed gentleman called Ray. Very pleasant guy.

The room was relaxing, with sweet scents intermixed with gentle music. A nice shade of orange permeated the building. I had a full body massage with extra attention being paid to my back and shoulders, which is where my stress tends to accumulate. Ray said my muscular condition is not as bad as I feared, which was a relief. The whole process was so relaxing I almost fell asleep but I know it's merely a way of alleviating the stress, not curing it. Still, it was a worthwhile exercise and a place I may start visiting every other month or so. I smelled of almonds through the oil afterwards though. Slippy slippy.

Afterwards, we went to the local gay bondage sauna which we had been meaning to try for a while. The complex is a two-floored labyrinth with a helluva lot to do. It even has two cinemas as well as a variety of different 'playrooms'. They also host regular fetish nights, which we will be attending at a later date. The guy on the reception was welcoming and we were soon relaxing in the sauna and steam room. There was a guy who looked identical to my former landlord in the jacuzzi, which was off-putting. Aside from that, we just wandered around to see what was on offer. Now we are members, I am sure we will be going back.

So a very relaxing evening all told and I am now prepared for the stresses today will bring. Hopefully it will help me calm down a bit but I imagine it will take more than one session to get me fully relaxed. I guess we'll see what happens.

Still unsure if I'll ever have the nerve to visit a sauna. Certainly I'm very self-conscious about my ballooning body at the moment, but not sure how much of my hesitation is due to that alone.

Don't get me wrong, some are very seedy but others are fine. This one seems okay. It also hosts regular fetish nights which suggests a more respectful and open-minded clientele. I am sure cruising happens but as that doesn't interest me I choose not to get involved. People are respectful of that (although no one approached us at all on Wednesday and we had a few nice chats with people).
